Sundays
We are always open starting at 8:30 a.m.on Sunday in August and September. We update our phone message (608.455.2803) hourly and close when we run out of berries.  Some Sundays we run out of berries by noon. We always update the phone message to give at least an hour's notice of when we expect to close.
Weekdays
We are also open during the week. We prefer pick-your-own customers to schedule pickings for the morning or early afternoon if possible because our crew picks the field starting at noon for markets. Early and late in the season, please call ahead to confirm availability especially if you are looking for lots of berries. Picking in the mid morning is best, because the dew has lifted and the day's heat hasn't come on.
Saturday
During peak season we are open for two or three Saturdays.  We'll let you know on our phone message and at our market stands about those dates.

Season
Roughly pick-your-own berry season begins by August 10. We are always at peak production by Labor Day through second week of September. If frost doesn't take the crop down in late September we will  have pick-your-own raspberries into October.
Daily availability fluctuates
We harvest berries every day to ensure the highest quality. Berry ripening responds dramatically to rain and temperature. At the peak of the season, if the weather has been dry and cool (50s or lower), we expect about 100 to 150 pints per day. On the other hand, if we've had rain and warmth (60s or higher) we can expect 200 to 250 pints or more per day.  When the weather is dry the berries have the most intense flavor.
Prepicked Berries
Pre-picked berries are available by early afternoon for $4 per pint or $48 a flat of 12 pints. If you want large quantities (12 or more) call ahead by at least a day and we will pick them for you.
