Real Food, Sustainably Grown with Organic Inputs
Late August 2012
Find us at the Dane County Farmers Market
on Saturdays and at the
 East Side Farmers Market
on Tuesdays.

We do have a limited amount of :
Herbs
Rainbow Chard
Tuscan Kale

We have an excellent supply of heirloom, hybrid and cherry tomatoes as well as 5 varietys of sweet onions, shallots and garlic.

Raspberries
The raspberries took a hit with the hot, dry, summer.  We could water only 10 of the 20 rows on the farm.  Now that temperatures have dropped we expect to have moderate amounts of  berries beginning August 20 through September.

Ginger
Ginger will be available in October.

Real Food, Sustainably Grown with Organic Inputs
Blue Skies Farm was Certified Organic from 1995 until 2006.  In 2007, after reading Michael Pollan's book
The Omnivore's Dilemma, we chose to stop supporting the USDA and its Organic Certification Program. We continue to use traditional Organic Growing methods as described in the National Standards and by J.I. Rodale, the original founder and publisher of Organic Gardening magazine.
